Celebrate the season with Fun with First Steps – Spring Fling! Families are invited to join us for a joyful morning of connection, creativity, and play at the Elk River Library. This special Spring Fling event will feature storytime, hands-on crafts, and snacks, all designed to support early learning and quality time together.

This free event is hosted by First Steps and the Family Resource Center, with support from our friendly home visiting nurses, who will be available throughout the event to answer parenting and child development questions. It’s a relaxed, welcoming opportunity to learn, connect, and feel supported—whether you’re navigating early milestones or simply looking for fun ways to spend time together.

Designed for families with young children, this is a come-as-you-are event. Stay for a few minutes or the whole morning—drop-ins are always welcome, and no registration is required. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and children in a fun, welcoming space.
