One Topic Two Voices: Teen and Parent Session on Mental Health

Parenting and the teen years come with new challenges—and big feelings—for everyone.
This interactive session brings teens and parents together, with opportunities to meet separately and then reconnect, to build understanding, strengthen communication, and practice skills that support mental health at home.
What We’ll Explore Together
- The new realities and pressures youth are facing today
- What teens wish their parents understood
- How parents can show curiosity, care, and support—even when they’re unsure what to ask
- Who teens feel comfortable talking to and what helps them feel supported
Breakout Conversations
Teens and parents will have separate breakout spaces to reflect, share, and learn in age-appropriate, supportive environments led by a therapist and parent educator.
